Hi, welcome to Bookey. Today we will unlock the book ‘The Road Less Traveled’.
This book is actually one in a series of books by the author M. Scott Peck. The book we will explore today is the first and the most influential one in his series. The title is ‘The Road Less Traveled: A New Psychology of Love, Traditional Values and Spiritual Growth’.
We have all felt this way before. When we were kids faced with piles of homework, we always wanted to grow up quickly. We believed that when we grow up, we would finally be able to control our own destinies. However, when we enter the workforce after graduation, we find that we have to work endless hours in order to pay endless bills. We continue to believe that it will eventually become easier. By the time we are middle-aged, we have to take care of both the old and the young people in our lives. We struggle to keep a balance between family and work and feel exhausted every day. We want to retire early and enjoy life. Come retirement, we find that our physical condition is not as good as before, and we become regular visitors at the hospital. When looking back on our lives, we might agree with M. Scott Peck’s first sentence in ‘The Road Less Traveled’, which is: life is difficult.
Faced with a difficult life, what kind of mentality should we have in order to live a good life? The book ‘The Road Less Traveled: A New Psychology of Love, Traditional Values and Spiritual Growth’ will give you the answer: confront life head on, and gain spiritual growth out from it.
M. Scott Peck, the author of the book, graduated from Harvard University as a young man. He then continued his studies and got his doctor’s degree in medicine. At the age of 15, Scott bravely took responsibility for his life. He gave up the privileged future offered by his parents, and he eventually became a psychologist. With his rich experience in psychotherapy, Scott wrote ‘The Road Less Traveled’. This book has been on the New York Times bestseller list for 20 consecutive years, with 30 million copies sold worldwide. It has helped thousands of people in distress to embark on the road to happiness.

Very good. But don't have a tap to dictionary?
Friendly user interface and no pop up ads. A comfortable app that does its job without annoying the hell out of you. This is one of those apps that's worth paying for.
A small and quick reader app. I'm using it on an experimental novel, and it renders all the graphics and odd typesetting great.
Easy to organizer bookmark and read the books
